Multimodal Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) using the Gemini API in Vertex AI Reviews

I am disappointed with this lab experience. I repeatedly encountered "429 ResourceExhausted" errors during the document processing and metadata extraction steps. Despite implementing manual sleep intervals and reducing the workload, the API quota was insufficient to complete the lab within the allotted time. This issue makes it impossible to follow the learning path and results in a significant waste of time. Please increase the API quota for this lab environment or optimize the helper functions to handle rate limiting more gracefully.
