I completed the last step without clearing the 3rd step visualization and I think that bugged it out. Had to start the 4th step fresh by going back to the Looker homepage.

When you say "View the dashboard by clicking on the provided hyperlink", you should specify "at the top of the page" to make it clear where to look for it. 8-)
