The concept of this lab is incredibly interesting - taking raw data, transforming it in a pipeline and then using that to generate reports. Unfortunately, I did not find the lab instructions very clear, and at times a little confusing due to the differences between what was written and what the GCP console was showing me. The first set of confusion I faced was with setting up the inital Dataflow pipeline when I needed to select the correct " Dataflow template". The option of "Cloud Storage Text to BigQuery" was listed twice, with each option creating slightly different form fields to fill in. This was incredibly confusing, slowed me down and took away from the actual learning of this lab. The main source of frustration however, was with the Looker Studio tasks. Looker studio is an incredible powerful tool but truthfully, this tutorial has made it quite frightening/ stressful for me to use. I could not find where some of the data I needed to change was, for example the "type" on the real time graph, there was no "add to chart" button as suggested. Most of the time I spent hunting through the UI trying to find the different items I needed to change and not sure I really have a grasp on how it actually works. This section of the tutorial REALLY needs updating to be more beginner friendly (or at least brought up to date with how the UI looks).
