first time, the vm was in the wrong region. second time, the last exercise didn't work: added timestamp, and could see it in the data pane, but none of the subsequent steps worked - perhaps add screenshots?

Got several 503 errors when starting dataflow jobs until I chose a different region. In the looker studio part I went through the motions but never got a clear understanding of what I was doing.
