That was a busy lab without much margin for error. I did have a problem with VM 2 creation. The lab instructions had the same zone as VM 1, which was not correct. Consequently, there was no subnet in the region. Once I entered the correct zone for VM 2, it worked fine.

Plenty of inconsistencies. VPC B is meant to be in us-central1 but has names referring to us-west and vpc-b VM has instructions for creating it in us-east and screenshots for us-west

There is an error in the guide where it requests the VM for vpc-b to be added in the region of vpc-a. The process however, only configures a subnet in a different region for vpc-b. This may confuse new learners
