You haven't updated the images and the naming of variables where previous tutorial used us-east4 compared to us-central1 for the vpc-a network/vms etc. This isn't such a problem but I believe that the final progress check is still using the old verification/ with us-east4 so it makes it impossible to complete the course. I tried recreating the vpc-a-vm-1 again but with the same failure.
