I recently completed the "Orchestrating the Cloud with Kubernetes" lab on Cloud Skill Boost, and it was a highly rewarding experience. This hands-on lab provided me with practical skills in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine. I gained experience in deploying and managing Docker containers, breaking down applications into microservices, and utilizing Kubernetes’ powerful features such as Deployments and Services. The lab covered key aspects including provisioning clusters, creating and interacting with Pods, setting up Services, and handling secure traffic. Overall, this lab enhanced my understanding of Kubernetes and its application in real-world scenarios, significantly boosting my cloud orchestration skills.
