There was an issue during the lab where I could not exit out of app.js. I apparently had to get rid of the semi-colon to exit out of the app.js file or ctrl^d but there wasn't enough instructions.

Get rid of the semi-colon at the end of the step where you're creating the app.js file

There is an apparent error in the provided code for app.js Node file. The closing EOF tag is followed by a semicolon (;). However, when this semicolon is included in the cat command in the Google Cloud Shell, the shell cannot detect the closing of the file, and if one manually attempts to close the file with Ctrl+D (EOF), there is an error when trying to save the file. All these problems are solved when the closing EOF tag has its semicolon removed. Then, Google Cloud Shell can automatically detect the end of the file, and there are no issues saving the file, nor any issues building images and running containers. Additionally, in my opinion, it is perhaps a bit optimistic to assume that all beginners who take this course or lab are familiar with Nano or Vim. Personally, I had to struggle with Vim quite a bit before I was able to successfully change the app.js file (the concept of modes is not apparent in modern editors like VSCode). Links to Nano and Vim beginner guides / basic cheatsheets would be appreciated.
