While the lab is functional, the data in the lab is immensely outdated. BigQuery has made so many optimizations over the years that a few of these examples when you run then don't really show much of an optimization improvement. Some of them are as minor as 0.1 seconds, compared to the x2 or x3 improvements that are suggested in the lab. Each of the queries worked, but it would be nice to have improvements that looked more noticeable.
