In the "VPC Network Peering" lab, I gained hands-on experience setting up private connectivity between VPC networks across different projects in Google Cloud. The lab guided me through creating custom networks in two projects, configuring VPC network peering sessions, and testing connectivity between VMs in peered networks. I learned the advantages of VPC Network Peering, including reduced network latency, enhanced security, and cost savings on egress bandwidth. This practical exercise reinforced my understanding of VPC networking and demonstrated the effective use of peering to facilitate secure, low-latency communication across different network administrative domains.
