Cloud Shell is fine, but for beginners it should be better and easier to use the Console.

Couldn't ssh to the VM. Tried from console and UI and I couldn't. Tried with different OS images - still the same. Looks like that ssh was not working. There were logs from the VM with ssh failing to start - exit status 3 "Status check for unit "ssh.service" completed with: exit status 3; ○ ssh.service - OpenBSD Secure Shell server Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/ssh.service; enabled; preset: enabled) Active: inactive (dead) Docs: man:sshd(8) man:sshd_config(5) , defaulting to true"
