Instructions are out of date (In the Navigation menu Notebooks are not located under Vertex AI, but under AI Platform). Also, models can only be deployed in certain regions, and we're not instructed beforehand what regions these are. If you try to deploy a model in a region without sufficient resources, redeploying it in a new region is not trivial, but we're given no advice as to how to do this. Finally, we never call the model for a prediction. What's the point of training a model when we never call it for a prediction? That's like teaching someone how to bake a cake, but not letting them taste it when it's finished.

The new notebook button now has a different label (workspace?) A warning that the region shouldnt be changed would be nice.
