seems like it hung near the end (last few cells did not appear to execute), so I restarted kernal and ran through again. after that, last cell errored and said model already exists. i got the general feel for the lab though.

the code for job and model deployment is for AI Platform, not Vertex AI; no evalutation, no predictions (despite the name of this lab)

Training job failed - service account did not have permission to write to bucket. Had to edit the permissions for the bucket. Otherwise the lab was fine.
