Finally finished the lab after so many attempts. Thanks to the Qwiklabs team for updating the lab instructions for the vpc logs population issue (/vpc_logs vs %2Fvpc_logs). One more issue that pops up in the last checkpoint "Simulation Test" is regarding query execution not completed. If you come across this issue, ensure that you are not adding any enter/carriage return, space etc to the BQ SQL query. If you add any additional characters, it fails to recognize that you have completed that step and you will be stuck forever in 95/100. Seems like the lab author is using an exact string match to verify step completion.
