There's an important step to consider when switching between clusters, and that is to make sure to get the credentials from the new regional cluster. Maybe adding the get-credentials command would help avoid unexpected behavior.

First I get scared by a lab warning, then the test cluster deployment ('hello-server') starts spinning up pods like crazy, so I had to delete the deployment to avoid another penalty. I'm going to take a small break and try again later, making sure I follow all steps, re-reading multiple times and hopefully I won't get weird behaviors from the lab environment :(
