I was finally able to finish this one. To everyone who is also having problems with FlowLogs - check if you have 'compute.googleapis.com/vpc_flows' or 'compute.googleapis.com%2Fvpc_flows' in Query preview. In my case, it worked with the latter.

Flow logs are not getting generated for the ping from POD 1 to 2. Even before creating the sink, if we preview the logs, it says no data found. As there is no log entries, the sink/table is also not getting created. The check progress fails. Attempt 4 : After trying with the legacy log interface, we are able to create the sink. But still the Check Progress will not turn green. Stuck at 85/100 always.

stupid thing doesn't work i created a sink with all the given credentials and still it showed create a sink with given credentials and did not let me finish the lab just a suggestion IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM JUST SAY IT TO ME DON'T HARASS ME
