You ask not to use Bigquery explorer but on other way is recognised here! I created from scratch but thsis is not reflecting in check progress. I wasted more thanana hour on this. looker console itself if flowed, never expected anythinh like this from google. Please fix, I am happy to help if need over call or anything fot pin poinitng the issue
