1 - Upgrading the bigquery package took over 5 minutes during wheel build of grpcio. There could have an observation below that step, indicating that it should take a while to complete. 2 - There is an example image during Service Account creation that shows "qwiklabs-bigquery-931" or something similar on its email. Doing that resulted in an error during the query execution, and I had to delete/recreate the service account, stop, reconfigure the VM instance to the newly created Service account and then restarted the instance to succesfully query bigquery .

One of the deployments took a long time and I thought the session had crashed. My time was running out and I logged a call with Support. I think installation of BQ. It was entirely clear whether I should be putting in the ACTUAL Service Account and Project ID information - I took the gamble and it seemed logical to do so BUT some student notes would have been helpful, i.e. you MUST edit this code and insert your personal values. I had 3 browser session crashed when cutting and pasting between the lab session and Notepad.

the sudo pip3 install --upgrade google-cloud-bigquery command in this lab install the grpcio package, which does an "install from source" operation, compiling the package before it installs it. The n1 1 vCPU processor takes forever to compile this (I gave up after waiting for 30 minutes). Please consider recommending a 2 or 4 vCPU VM size so this step doesnt take forever to complete.
