This lab helped me understand Google Cloud Monitoring, logging, and alerts. I learned to create custom metrics and dashboards. It was a good hands-on experience.

There seem to be elements of this lab that get a 'check' mark even if nothing has been done. This can be disorientating when looking for ways to make things work. Getting through this lab was a process, feels good to get to the completion state.
