Had trouble creating the alerting policy. Lab was responding very slowly and screen wouldn't respond. Deleted uptime check and restarted that section. Same thing. Eventually got through it.

Stackdriver is one broken piece of software, the uptime checks never fired even after waiting for 10 minutes. Many times when click on buttons trying to actually create the checks nothing happened. Overall stackdriver seems really really bad.
