Looks like lab monitor has hardcoded check to some insignificant details of the instance you create. I got only score 15 with following commands(skipped bucket creation and upload) gcloud compute instances create apache3 --zone us-central1-a --tags http-server --metadata startup-script-url=gs://qwiklabs-gcp-924ff791433e132c-bucket/install-web.sh serial-port-enable=1 --network-interface=address="" gcloud compute firewall-rules create allow-http-tags --allow tcp:80,icmp --target-tags=http-server gcloud compute connect-to-serial-port apache3 --zone us-central1-a Untill I recreated instances manually it didn't accept my answer. I suppose it checks default firewall rules creation.

This scoring system SUCKS. It is possible to meet the STATED objectives in a variety of ways but not be able to complete the SCORED objectives. If you provided some indication of what the ACTUAL objectives are (do everything with default names and only use a certain method to accomplish the task) it would have been nice. Otherwise enjoyable lab experience RUINED by crappy scoring methods/documentation.
