A bit strange delays with the deployment, not so clear logic with the service accounts ... but finally it worked from the second try. Seems this pubsub topic was not ready (yet) when I tried to deploy the function first time. It would be nice to add some precondition check into the guide before trying to deploy pubsub-triggered function. Would be also nice to increase practical understanding of pub/sub.
