While the lab provides good hands-on experience, there are two critical gaps in the instructions that can lead to errors and frustration: 1. Error when removing Email Notifications The instructions suggest deleting the notification channel at the end, but this fails with a "Could not delete... because it is still being referenced" error. SSH Connection Issues (OS Login) I encountered persistent "Permission Denied" or timeout errors when trying to connect to the VM via SSH. This often happens due to project-level IAM restrictions. The Fix: To resolve this, you need to manually edit the VM instance and add a custom metadata entry. Set the Key to enable-oslogin and the Value to FALSE. This bypasses the OS Login requirement and allows the standard SSH keys to function properly. Recommendation: Updating the step-by-step guide to include these two points would significantly improve the user experience and prevent "stuck" resources or failed connection
