Once the policy is saved without the email, you can then successfully delete the notification channel from the "Edit Notification Channels" menu. 2. SSH Connection Issues (OS Login) I encountered persistent "Permission Denied" or timeout errors when trying to connect to the VM via SSH. This often happens due to project-level IAM restrictions. The Fix: To resolve this, you need to manually edit the VM instance and add a custom metadata entry. Set the Key to enable-oslogin and the Value to FALSE. This bypasses the OS Login requirement and allows the standard SSH keys to function properly. Recommendation: Updating the step-by-step guide to include these two points would significantly improve the user experience and prevent "stuck" resources or failed connection
