I completed step 1 and it said it was not completed. However I was able to complete the remaining steps so clearly this is inaccurate, I deserve 100 for this task

Terrible. This lab is not able to check the status of the public IP that gets set and therefore is not able to "check progress" for over half the tasks.

I can't complete task 1. However, I have successfully completed all other tasks. Today it was my fourth attempt. The first time, I have completed task 1 but had a problem with the second one. All the next times I have completed all tasks except first.

bug in this lab

The first checker doesn't work. I tried creating a VM instance in multiple ways and none of them are detected by the lab. I finished the rest of the lab and tried going back to it thinking surely the logic of the checker is smart enough to realize I can't do the next steps without the first one. but it didn't matter.
