UPDATED: so turns out, the migration takes something like 40 minutes in total, which should be mentioned in the lab text, I think. Looks like RDS replica heartbeat is making the DMS wait for so long for writes to stop. Nothing works. At first migration was running for 30 minutes straight without completion, saying that RDS must stop writing. Then I tried stopping the migration job and restarting it, and all sorts of errors started occuring in GCP Console. Wasn't able to finish the lab. Don't know if it's GCP DMS issue, or the lab's issue.

Migration is stuck at waiting for source writes to stop. Attempted multiple times and stuck with same issue

Did all the required steps (checked really carefully), but got "Failure connecting to the source database." at test job step. Retried 3 times, the same result. If I continue creating job, it just fails.
