Subject: [GSP1154] Localized (Japanese) UI causes Cloud Run deploy failure due to invalid service name Lab: Get Started with Agent Studio (GSP1154) Language: Japanese console/lab UI Issue: When completing Task 1 with the console language set to Japanese, deploying the prompt as a Cloud Run app ("Deploy as app") consistently fails with: service.metadata.name: must not contain tag delimiter '---' Cloud Audit Log confirms the auto-generated service name contained a triple-hyphen sequence (e.g. "genai-app---1-<timestamp>"), which Cloud Run rejects as an invalid service name (reserved for revision tag delimiter). This appears tied to the localized prompt title "保険リスクの要約 - プロトタイプ" (which includes a spaced hyphen " - "). The auto-generated Cloud Run service name logic seems to convert this into "---", causing CreateService to fail with an INVALID_ARGUMENT (code 3) error every time, regardless of retries ("Update app") or IAM permission propagation delays. Workaround found: Switching the lab/console language to English and using an English prompt title without a spaced hyphen (e.g. "InsuranceRiskSummary") resolved the issue immediately — the same steps deployed successfully on the first try. Suggested fix: Sanitize prompt titles more robustly when generating the Cloud Run service name, especially for localized (non-English) prompt titles containing hyphens/spaces, to avoid producing consecutive hyphens.
