after the sudo ./install_packages.sh, should refresh the code base in editor, I think. It is gone after I refresh the codebase.

Spent most of the time installing updates and downloading code & data. Those things seem like they could be pre-provisioned in the lab project, and I don't feel like I learn much by pasting `git clone`.
