Found a couple of glitches that were surmountable: 1) Explicitly setting the project was not part of the steps but expected in the command to create a bucket. 2) When deploying the app the service URL does not match that which is evaluated with the steps provided. My guess is that the steps return the internal service URL whereas the deploy now returns the external service URL? Either way, they didn't match, so had to add the additional URL as part of the OAUTH steps. 3) In Logging instructions it's not clear that the Reported Errors are part of the All resources dropdown (maybe I just didn't get it right away since it's a long list).

There are some issues with login function that the instructions want from us. In task 4 you expect that the login button works in the bookshelf application but it doesn't. I followed all the instructions, created oauth credentials, defined domaines and uri s correctly. I also created a service account with the provided prompt from the instructions. I still was not able to login in the application. (this is for task 4, where we try to deploy the application to another server which is not localhost.)

The command export RUN_URL=$(gcloud run services describe bookshelf --platform managed --region us-east1 --format 'value(status.url)') echo "${RUN_URL}/oauth2callback" did not gave me the right URL

It's weird but I followed step by step the OAuth fix (adding the second domain) and made surethat I am uploading the right json file and also verified the secret value in secret manager and confirmed the fact the the second domain added is well mentionned, however still problems to authenticate. I refreshed the page after couple minutes but nothing changed.
