Great lab. It's written in such a way it's clear you already know the flaws. Getting it deployed to a usable endpoint is a big deal, especially since it shows one method of how to get token access. But my first training only left 10 min or so left on the 2h30m lab in the first place.

The steps dont mention that you are required to use Cloud Storage which you don't have permission to create a new bucket or use one that exits. Wasted my time

I would add the ability to import an existing model and deploy it vs using an already deployed model. Also some terms need to be updated in the guide to reflect what's actually in the UI (like when training the model, some options are new and the guide is slightly outdated).
