Overall nice to see how to use Vertex AI. The following points could be improved: 1. The Lab Introduction video explains how the confusion matrix works. At time code 1:30, the instructor says "this means the model mistakenly identifies 13% of good borrowers (those who actually repay) as defaulters." The graph however shows that it is the other way round. The model predicts class 0 (repay), while the true class is 1 (default). So what actually happens is that the model does not identify 13 % of defaulters correctly. 2. I found it a bit uninstructive that most of the lab could not be done in praxis (deploying the model), because the training would take too long.
