It would be better to change the dataset for this experiment to a smaller one where all tasks can be performed. The main goal of these labs are certainly not to get the best model on the best dataset. Rather the objective is to learn the different components of Vertex AI, an offering by GCP. It does not serve the purpose if someone, who wants to learn, is not exposed to one of these tasks. Hopefully, someone reads this comment in this era of AI.
