us-central-1 region is still down for creating instances. But used asia-southeast-1 to create the instances. Worked like a charm. Learned everything very well...

I was not able to complete the lab successfully due to unavailability of compute engine resources to create vm-premium and vm-standard instances in specified regions. Tried 5 times since 26th Nov 10PM, but was not able to secure an instance. Was the bottleneck due to Thanksgiving long week-end demand ? Thanks

there is not enough resource condition on the zone refer to instruction, so i cannot finish the lab.
