Optimizing your BigQuery Queries for Performance 2.5 Reviews

The concepts were good but none of the times aligned with the lab which kind of made the lab pointless. It would have been far more efficient as a video. This just seemed kind of messy too. Also for such a rich suite, this kind of seemed like a good place to benchmark the queries in some sort of visualization... DEs need to be able to communicate that type of information to others in the org and it is very difficult to do. A lot of the other visual labs with Looker or Fusion kind of tacked on whereas this is operationally useful everywhere. The best part was making the job fail as it properly demonstrated the limitation of the implemented logic against the large dataset.

Good lab, but some of the SQL queries are mistaken - the initial All Baby Names is incorrect
