Update, cluster creation worked the following day. I also missed the note about trying different zones if you get the below error. Cluster couldn't be created due to insufficient resources available: Google Compute Engine: Not all instances running in IGM after 35m20.596166786s. Expected 3, running 0, transitioning 3. Current errors: [GCE_STOCKOUT]: Instance 'gke-cluster-1-default-pool-98aad420-0v8z' creation failed: The zone 'projects/qwiklabs-gcp-00-758a309fc17b/zones/us-central1-a' does not have enough resources available to fulfill the request.
