Good lab since it helped to demonstrate how to use testing techniques so well. One issue is that we needed to select a Debian 10 system since Debian 11 was the default and didn't have Apache Beam available. I completed this by using a custom setup for my notebook.

The instructions are outdated - the notebook must be created from Dataflow, not VertexAI. Apart from that, it was a structured and easily understood lab.

The lab requries a Notebook to be created under the SMART ANALYTICS section in VERTEX AI Workbench. However, there is no APACHE BEAM SDK Image available anymore. One must create the notebook from DATA FLOW Workbench.
