When installing Istio in Task 5, I got this error when it was installing Istio. Error: Kptfile at "https:/github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/anthos-service-mesh-packages/asm-citadel@release-1.6-asm" has an old version ("v1alpha1") of the Kptfile schema Thankfully, this fellow had the answer: https://githubmemory.com/repo/kubeflow/gcp-blueprints/issues/294 So, I used this command to downgrade the kpt utility. sudo apt-get install google-cloud-sdk-kpt=346.0.0-0 And from there, I was able to do the kpt install of Istio successfully. This solution is not easy to find in the internet. So that part sucked. Other than that, this lab is 5-stars.
