The lab fails to specify the required Region and Zone. I had to waste significant time using gcloud commands just to discover that the project is restricted to us-west1-a. Even after identifying the correct zone and ensuring all resources were 'Running', the 'Check My Progress' button failed to validate the tasks correctly.
