I recently completed the "Bracketology with Google Machine Learning" lab on Cloud Skill Boost, and it was an insightful experience. This lab provided hands-on practice with BigQuery ML, allowing me to use SQL to build and evaluate machine learning models directly within BigQuery. I learned how to access and explore a public NCAA dataset, prepare and transform data, and build predictive models to forecast NCAA tournament outcomes. This lab not only enhanced my skills in data preparation and model building but also gave me practical experience with BigQuery's capabilities in handling large datasets and machine learning tasks. Overall, it was a valuable addition to my data science toolkit!
