i couldn't find the things needed to go on. like there is GKE cluster. it defaults to autopilot

Not a great intro to GKE. The cluster simply failed to start in the very first step. I left it spinning for 30 minutes before giving up. It was stuck on 64% in the "Deploying" step. Having to cancel and try again in another session to make sure I have time to complete.
