Instructions are not really up to date and package.json files are outdated. To fix the error when running prepare_environment.sh, uninstall node and npm and reinstall them via nvm following this solution : https://stackoverflow.com/a/24404451

I think the Google Cloud console changed and the Workshop did not follow. So it was so hard to follow the instruction as the buttons changed
