Well, it’s the first time I've retried a lab 4 times :D In Task 2, “Import infrastructure.” the objective wasn’t completed until I additionally updated boot_disk image from debian-11 to debian-12 of imported vm instances which caused them to… be fully recreated, which ... doesn't align with the task's description "the apply will update the instances in-place"... but all in all it triggered the completion ;) As for Task 6, there is currently a requirement to use only the “6.0.0” version of vpc module, otherwise the objective won’t completed. For that, from the start of the lab, simply specify a terraform block with required hashicorp/google provider of version < 5 (was 4.85.0 in my case), and things will work out. In general, it is a great lab to sharpen your terraform skills. I only wish the issue in Task 2 was fixed; it was hard to figure out.
