the steps in the frontend configuration do not match what is in the Google Console. also the name of the LB is pretty misleading. Might need to be updated

Still not up to date with GCloud. There are several outdated instructions, from the instance type (Buster is the oldest available, consider upgrading), to the Load Balancer configs. Put some test automation on these labs to catch the problems.
