**Incident Report – IAP Lab** While performing the Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) lab on Google Cloud Skills Boost, the IAP console displayed the error **“Failed to load IAP resources”** after completing the instructed configuration steps. The issue occurred because the **App Engine Flex API could not be disabled at the project level**, as it was enabled at the organizational hierarchy of the lab environment. After verifying the APIs and refreshing the console, the App Engine resource eventually became accessible in the IAP interface, allowing the configuration to proceed. The issue appears to be related to restrictions within the managed lab environment rather than an error in the configuration steps.
