I could not continue after step 14. Return to the Identity-Aware Proxy page and refresh it. You should now see a list of resources you can protect. I tried for a second time, same error, I'm extremely disappointed.

Issue: UI Synchronization Delay & Validation Errors in IAP Setup Feedback: The lab experiences a significant delay (10+ minutes) where the Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) dashboard fails to "discover" the deployed App Engine resource, showing a constant loading spinner. Additionally, the "Configure New Application" UI for IAP rejected the App Engine URL because it included https://, despite that being the standard format provided by the App Engine dashboard. This caused a bottleneck in completing the final tasks. Recommendation: Update the lab instructions to include gcloud CLI alternatives for enabling IAP and adding the "IAP-secured Web App User" role to bypass console sync issues.

I have successfully deployed the HelloWorld app to App Engine. The deployed service default is running at https://qwiklabs-gcp-02-320f8d639eed.ue.r.appspot.com in region us-east1 with no errors or warnings. When attempting to enable Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), the App Engine app does not appear on the IAP page. This is due to the appengineflex.googleapis.com API being enabled at the organization level, which prevents IAP from detecting the App Engine resource in this lab environment. All deployment and configuration steps were followed correctly, and the application is accessible. This environment limitation is known in Qwiklabs and does not affect lab completion.
