I don't recall using the kube-system namespace during the kubernetes build up. There was a step where they call the namespace new-app for Jenkins. We call default at the beginning and then we create the one for production but I don't see the kube-system namespace... even doing a page search for the kube-system namespace only turns up a single entry for the answer in the Test your Understanding section..
