It didn't take a "few" minutes for the backends to become healthy... it took 10-15 minutes

In the final step v1 and v2 both 404 as the backing pods don't actually show as healthy (unknown health check with 0/0 available)

Only 1 replica of hello-v2 started correctly. The rest were in pending state the entire lab. The global load balancer never worked (curl command returning 404) when calling the curl http://externalIp/v1 or curl http://externalIp/v2 command yet all checks were successful. Even after waiting about 15 minutes.
