The enviroment was misconfigured. In the console my project was qwiklabs-gcp-00-61a4c07b5e0e yet, my project id in the lab was qwiklabs-gcp-01-c9e2ff732c8d. I had to manually upate the project id through gcloud config set project. I needed help from chatgpt, otherwise, i would not be able to complete the lab as the copy/paste from the lab returned that I had not had enough permissions Updated property [core/project].
