1. I had to run the following command to create the functions. gcloud projects add-iam-policy-binding qwiklabs-gcp-03-eb24a6ebcdfc --member=serviceAccount:207233675621-compute@developer.gserviceaccount.com --role=roles/artifactregistry.reader 2. Even when the function was in Active state, the lab "check my progress" kept saying the function is not active.

Unexpected errors were encountered while running the code provided in the instructions, e.g. "Unable to retrieve the repository metadata for ...". Global variables can be used to avoid typing errors and show the use of best practices. Setting Python version to 3.8 solved the issues.
