I never found the referenced "Site URL link". No idea where that was located. I found the VM's public NIC IP and accessed it that way.

It said that i didn't add the marketplace for the lamp stack and complete the assignment but I did. the original deployment failed. I had to start over from the top. I didn't retry deployment due to some permissions issue. It was a partial deployment it said. Also, the instructions are slightly outdated; there is no message of "lamp-1 has been deployed". Just a status of deployed and a green checkmark.
